About Me

My diverse career has included admin, policy, nonprofit governance, operations and communications in policy, politics, communications, hospitality and entrepreneurship. 

I learned so much from all of them about the good, the bad and the ugly of administrative and operational systems (like using email, making schedules, developing and documenting procedures, customer service, processing orders, operating websites, etc). My strength is in seeing the forest for the trees – helping organize and streamline these systems, to save you time and stress, and build a solid infrastructure for your future.

What I Do

Everyday tasks (managing email, inquiries, schedules, databases, and all those other specialized tools) can get overwhelming. Sometimes it’s hard to step back, see the bigger picture, and understand how well it’s all working for you. Even the idea of hiring an assistant can be out of reach if you aren’t on top of how these work together.

There have never been so many time-saving tools and platforms. This brings a lot of opportunities to coordinate and streamline essential activities, creating more time and space to serve your mission. 

But each new tool has a learning curve, and adds more complexity through interactions with your existing setup. All of this introduces opportunities for wasted time and unforced errors. Sometimes you find yourself having to pay specialized experts to help you use tools that you already pay for, but don’t fully understand.

Standard platforms like WordPress, Google Workspace and Office 365 have a lot of functions that can streamline operations. But they are underused by busy people who were never formally taught how to use them, and who are too busy to learn now. 

I was an early adopter of these platforms, and I know a lot of ways to use them to save you time, money and hassle. I have always embraced new tools to solve emerging problems, with an eye for coordinating and streamlining existing activities, and ensuring new solutions work for everyone by providing extensive documentation for ongoing training.
