About Me
My education was in environmental studies, and I tried to be an activist. Since then I have held roles as varied as admin assistant, scheduler, office manager, secretary, campaign manager, operations consultant, policy analyst, restaurant owner, webmaster, communications consultant, project manager, and customer service agent.
I’ve worked in settings as diverse as environmental policy, financial services, government and politics, retail food service; and non-profit governance, operations and fundraising. But I’ve always found myself more inspired to support the people working towards the mission, than to support the mission itself.
Every environment has challenged me to coordinate, streamline and innovate new operational solutions, in order to build a sustainable foundation for growth. I love finding innovative solutions to problems, and advocating for new technology and ideas to open doors for growth.
In 2024, I relocated to Peterborough, Ontario, to focus on working with organizations that are aligned with my goals and interests: helping nonprofits and small businesses work better.
