Microsoft, Google and WordPress automatically keep saved versions of content you create. Here’s how to find it.
Note of caution: restoring a previous version will permanently delete the current one, so it’s a good idea to copy and paste any content you want to keep into another file before clicking save on anything.
WordPress (Elementor)
- Go to the menu in the top left of the screen
- Click the second item – History
WordPress (WordPress editor)
- In the Post section on the right,
Google Workspace
- In the top right, look for a clock with an arrow around it.
- Additionally, in Google Sheets, if you right-click on a cell, you can see its edit history.
